Lakeland Community College invites qualified candidates to submit their application to teach the BUSM 2370 (Compensation and Benefits) course during the Spring 2026 semester, January 10 – May 8, 2026. This is an online course that will be taught using the Blackboard learning management system.
BUSM 2370 – Compensation and Benefits (3 units of load)
This course is an asynchronous course taught using the Blackboard learning management system.
This course examines the design, implementation, and management of compensation and benefits programs within organizations. It covers the principles, practices, and regulatory framework of compensation and benefits programs, integrating strategic and operational aspects. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the strategic role of compensation and benefits in attracting, retaining, and motivating employees. Students will learn to design and manage effective compensation and benefits programs that align with organizational goals and comply with legal requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required: 1) master’s degree in business administration or a master’s degree in a related field that included 18 graduate credit hours in business courses; 2) A minimum of 3 years of course-related work experience.
- Preferred: College teaching experience.
COMPENSATION: Part-time faculty earn $792/unit of load. There are three (3) units of load assigned to this course.
