Lakeland Community College invites qualified candidates to submit their application to teach the BUSM 2350 (Labor and Management Relations) course during the Spring 2025 semester, January 11 – May 9, 2025. The course will be taught on campus, Tuesday evenings from 6 – 8:40 p.m.
BUSM 2350 – Labor and Management Relations (3 units of load)
Course Description: This course examines the complex and dynamic relationship between labor and management in today’s workplace equipping students with an understanding of current issues and best practices in labor-management relations. It includes an examination of the historical development of labor relations, key legal frameworks, the role of unions, the collective bargaining process, and strategies for achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required: 1) master’s degree in business administration or a master’s degree in a related field that included 18 graduate credit hours in business courses; 2) A minimum of 3 years of management experience.
- Preferred: College teaching experience.
COMPENSATION: Part-time faculty earn $792/unit of load. There are three (3) units of load assigned to this course.
