Motorcycle Instructor

General Description

This position is responsible for teaching the approved curriculum for the Motorcycle sessions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide and maintain proof of certification from Motorcycle Ohio to teach the approved curriculum.
  • Set up and clean up the classroom and range for each session, including fueling motorcycles.
  • Complete and submit student/course paperwork to the Program Director.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  A.  Education/Training and Experience Required/Preferred

  • Motorcycle Ohio Certificate-Required

B. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required/Preferred

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required; ability to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to maintain professional attitude and demeanor in difficult situations; ability to multi-task.
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license and a driving record which qualifies the driver under the College’s insurance program are required.
  • Ability to work weekends.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a part-time, limited-term, assignment.  The College does not commit to continued employment beyond the initial season, April-October 2024.

COMPENSATION:  $27.00/hr
